The Project
What We Did
When Nucor expanded its Crawfordsville steel facility, hundreds of pieces of high value equipment had to be staged and stored through a construction timeline that stretched across seasons. Motors, drives, control panels, structural assemblies, and process machinery all had to survive weather, dust, and long open air storage, and still be installation ready the day the crews needed them.
Shrink Masters wrapped more than 700 pieces on site across multiple phases, custom fitting 6, 7, and 8 mil industrial shrink wrap with engineered ventilation so moisture couldn't get trapped underneath. Each piece was sealed drum tight to shed rain and snow while the vents let the equipment breathe.
